Well, we certainly need something to cheer us up in these cold, gray winter days and nights. “Pocket Peace” reminded me of one of my favorites: Thich Nhat Hanh’s “The Miracle of Mindfulness.” I pull it off the shelf now and then to put myself into the present moment. I sold many a copy at Heartland and reviewed it awhile back on Amazon. Thanks for the reviews.

I’ve read several of Sue Grafton’s mysteries, each better than the last. She creates a depth in her character’s and their lives. I guess I’ll have to put “U is for Undertow” on my reading list. I’ve read several King novels as well and, while his stories are well done, his characters are fairly shallow. At over a thousand words, I think I’ll pass on “Under the Dome.” Thanks for the reviews.
