Shark Week

It’s ironic (or maybe just coincidental) that the same┬átime the Discovery Channel touts its annual Shark Week programming by saying sharks seldom attack humans, a shark goes and attacks a human. And an Ohio man at that.

Reminds me of a statistic I read once that vending machines kill more people annually than sharks do. Here’s a link.

    I love Shark Week! Is it me, or does it seem like SW comes every other month? I can watch that Great White jumping in the air all day ” the slo-mo is like Steve Austin on the Six Million Dollar Man. 20 years, I think I saw on the ads during the “Man-vs-Wild” marathon. The “man” is named Bear; now there’s a guy who needs to go up against a Great White! Could be an SW special.
