‘Treasure Hunters Club’ author visits Hudson
Sean McCartney brings the first in his adventure series for 8 to 14 year olds to the Learned Owl Book Shop Nov. 6 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Treasure Hunters’ Club: Secrets of the Magical Medallions follows four ordinary 8th graders on a quest to recover two ancient and powerful stones.
McCartney is a teacher and coach at Plains Local Schools in Canton. He describes his first novel for young adults as a cross between The Hardy Boys and Indiana Jones. He plans to expand The Treasure Hunters’ Club into a series that will take the four main characters on new adventures as they graduate eighth grade and move into high school.
