COLUMBUS, OH – Ohio’s hunters are encouraged to harvest any feral swine they encounter in the wild in order to limit the spread of this destructive species in the state, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.

COLUMBUS, OH – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is joining with Ohio grocers to reduce the amount of food waste currently going into the state’s landfills and find productive reuses for cast-off produce, damaged consumables, packaging and other supermarket by-products.

My e-mail box is starting to fill with messages from angry puppy mill-haters, in response to a story I wrote for Dixland and Youngstown newspapers last week, when 100-plus Amish residents packed two hearing rooms to show their opposition to proposed legislation increasing the regulation of breeding operations in the state.
They’re taking exception to comments made during that session by individuals who think the provisions outlined in House Bill 223 (you can find a copy of it HERE)

COLUMBUS, OH – Hunters harvested 504 wild turkeys during the first five days of Ohio’s fall wild turkey hunting season, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife; adhd toddlers.The season opened on October 13 and will run through October 28 – adhd toddlers. Last year, hunters killed a total of 479 birds in the same time period.The top 10 counties for wild turkeys killed to date are: Ashtabula-32, Coshocton-29, Guernsey-25, Columbiana-24, Jackson-23, Gallia-21, Trumbull and Tuscarawas-19, Clermont-17, Carroll-10 and Pike-15.

Ohio’s unemployment rate was 5.9 percent in September, up from 5.7 percent in August, according to data released this morning by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services; adhd treatment.Ohio’s nonfarm wage and salary employment decreased 2 adhd treatment,600 over the month, from 5,441,500 in August to 5,438,900 in September.
